Welcome to EduPassify ("we," "our," or "us"). These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "Student," or "you") and EduPassify regarding your access to and use of our website (edupassify.com), mobile applications (iOS and Android), AI-powered learning tools, educational content, and all related services (collectively, the "Platform" or "Services"). By registering, accessing, or using any part of our Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms, along with our Privacy Policy and all applicable laws and regulations.

⚠️ IMPORTANT NOTICE: If you do not agree with any provision of these Terms, you must immediately discontinue use of our Platform and Services. Continued use after changes to these Terms constitutes acceptance of those changes.

1.2 Modifications to Terms

EduPassify reserves the right to modify, update, or replace these Terms at any time at our sole discretion. Changes may be made to:

  • Comply with new legal or regulatory requirements
  • Reflect changes in our Services or business practices
  • Address security, technical, or operational issues
  • Improve user experience and clarify existing provisions

We will notify you of material changes via email (to your registered address) and/or through a prominent notice on our Platform at least 14 days before the effective date. Your continued use of our Services after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. If you object to any changes, your sole remedy is to discontinue use of the Platform and cancel your subscription.

2. Eligibility & User Accounts

Minimum Age: You must be at least 13 years old to create an account and use EduPassify. Users under 18 years of age ("Minors") must have explicit permission from a parent or legal guardian before registering or using our Services.

Parental/Guardian Responsibilities: If you are a parent or guardian permitting a Minor to use EduPassify, you:

  • Acknowledge full responsibility for the Minor's use of the Platform
  • Agree to supervise the Minor's online activities and interactions
  • Accept liability for all activities conducted through the Minor's account
  • Consent to the collection and processing of the Minor's data as described in our Privacy Policy
  • Agree to monitor any payments or subscription charges associated with the account

School & Institutional Accounts: Educational institutions creating accounts on behalf of students must obtain proper consent from students' parents/guardians and comply with applicable educational privacy laws (including Nigeria Data Protection Regulation 2019).

2.2 Account Registration & Security

To access premium features of EduPassify, you must create an account by providing accurate, current, and complete information. You agree to:

  • Provide Truthful Information: All registration details (name, email, phone number, educational institution) must be accurate and kept up-to-date
  • Maintain Account Security: You are solely responsible for safeguarding your password and account credentials. Use a strong, unique password
  • No Account Sharing: Your account is personal and non-transferable. Do not share login credentials with others or allow multiple users to access a single account
  • Monitor Account Activity: Regularly review your account activity and notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or security breaches
  • Accept Responsibility: You are responsible for all activities conducted through your account, whether authorized by you or not

Account Verification: EduPassify may require email or phone verification to activate your account. We reserve the right to request additional verification (identity documents, student ID) to prevent fraud and ensure Platform integrity.

2.3 One Account Per User Policy

Each user is permitted only one active account. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent subscription limits, exploit referral programs, or engage in fraudulent activity is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate account termination without refund.

EduPassify offers multiple subscription tiers to meet diverse student needs:

  • Free Plan: Limited access to basic features including sample questions and limited AI assistant interactions
  • Monthly Premium: Full access to all past questions, unlimited practice exams, AI study assistant, performance analytics, and mobile app features
  • Annual Premium: Same benefits as Monthly Premium with discounted pricing and priority customer support
  • Institutional Plans: Custom pricing for schools, coaching centers, and educational organizations (contact sales@edupassify.com)

Free trial periods may be offered at our discretion. Trial users must provide valid payment information, which will be charged automatically upon trial expiration unless canceled beforehand.

3.2 Pricing & Currency

All subscription fees are stated in Nigerian Naira (₦) unless otherwise indicated. Prices are subject to change with 30 days' advance notice to existing subscribers. Price changes will not affect your current billing cycle but will apply upon renewal. International users may be charged in local currency at prevailing exchange rates, with potential additional conversion fees imposed by payment processors or banks.

3.3 Billing Cycle & Automatic Renewal

Billing Frequency: Subscription fees are charged at the beginning of each billing period (monthly on the date of initial purchase, or annually on the anniversary date).

Automatic Renewal: Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date. You authorize EduPassify to charge your designated payment method for recurring subscription fees. You will receive a renewal reminder email at least 7 days before each renewal date.

Failed Payments: If payment fails, we will attempt to charge your payment method up to 3 times over 7 days. Your account may be downgraded to the free tier if payment cannot be processed. Outstanding balances must be settled before upgrading or reactivating premium features.

3.4 Payment Methods & Security

We accept payment via:

  • Credit/Debit Cards (Visa, Mastercard, Verve)
  • Bank Transfers (Nigerian banks)
  • Mobile Money (MTN, Airtel, 9mobile)
  • USSD Payment Codes
  • Other payment methods as made available

All payments are processed securely through our trusted third-party payment processor, Flutterwave. We do not store full credit card numbers on our servers. You are responsible for ensuring your payment information remains current and accurate.

3.5 Refund & Money-Back Guarantee

7-Day Guarantee: We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee for first-time premium subscribers. If you are unsatisfied with our Services within 7 days of your initial subscription purchase, contact support@edupassify.com with your account details and reason for refund. Refunds are processed within 7-14 business days to your original payment method.

Refund Exclusions: Refunds are NOT available for:

  • Subscription renewals (only initial purchases qualify)
  • Annual subscriptions after 7 days from purchase date
  • Requests made after 7 days from initial purchase
  • Accounts terminated due to violations of these Terms
  • Partial billing periods (cancellations provide access until period end, but no prorated refunds)
  • Change of mind after completing exams or accessing significant content

Exceptional Circumstances: Refunds outside the standard policy may be granted at our sole discretion for technical issues preventing Service access, duplicate charges, or other extenuating circumstances.

3.6 Cancellation Policy

How to Cancel: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings dashboard or by contacting support@edupassify.com. Cancellation is effective at the end of your current billing period.

Post-Cancellation Access: After canceling, you retain access to premium features until the end of your paid period. Your account will then automatically revert to the free tier. No refunds or credits are provided for unused time in your billing period.

Data Retention: Your study history, performance data, and account information are retained after cancellation and will be restored if you resubscribe within 90 days. After 90 days of inactivity, data may be archived or deleted as per our Privacy Policy.

3.7 Taxes & Additional Fees

Subscription fees do not include applicable taxes (VAT, sales tax, or other governmental levies). You are responsible for all taxes associated with your purchase. We will add applicable taxes to your invoice where required by law. Payment processor fees, currency conversion charges, or bank transaction fees are not covered by EduPassify and may be charged separately by your financial institution.

EduPassify grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use our Platform solely for your personal, non-commercial educational purposes. Acceptable uses include:

  • Accessing past examination questions and study materials for personal exam preparation
  • Taking practice exams and assessments to evaluate your knowledge
  • Using our AI study assistant for educational guidance and clarification
  • Tracking your performance analytics and study progress
  • Downloading mobile applications for offline study (where available)
  • Participating in discussion forums and student communities (when enabled)

4.2 Prohibited Activities

You expressly agree NOT to engage in any of the following prohibited activities. Violation may result in immediate account suspension or termination without refund:

a) Account Misuse

  • Sharing your account credentials with others or allowing unauthorized access
  • Creating multiple accounts to exploit free trials, referral programs, or bypass restrictions
  • Impersonating others or providing false identity information
  • Using another person's account without explicit permission

b) Content Misuse & Intellectual Property Violations

  • Copying, reproducing, distributing, or republishing any EduPassify content (questions, answers, explanations, videos, study materials) without written permission
  • Scraping, mining, or extracting data using automated tools, bots, or scripts
  • Reverse engineering, decompiling, or attempting to derive source code from our Platform
  • Removing copyright notices, watermarks, or proprietary markings from content
  • Reselling, sublicensing, or commercially exploiting our content or Services
  • Creating derivative works or competing products based on our content

c) Technical & Security Violations

  • Hacking, breaching, or attempting unauthorized access to our systems, servers, or databases
  • Launching denial-of-service (DoS) attacks or overloading our infrastructure
  • Uploading viruses, malware, ransomware, or malicious code
  • Circumventing security features, access controls, or digital rights management
  • Interfering with or disrupting the functionality of the Platform for other users
  • Probing, scanning, or testing vulnerabilities without written authorization

d) Fraudulent & Illegal Activities

  • Using stolen or fraudulent payment methods
  • Initiating chargebacks without first attempting to resolve disputes through support
  • Engaging in referral fraud or manipulating reward programs
  • Using the Platform for any illegal purpose or in violation of Nigerian or international laws
  • Soliciting personal information from minors
  • Facilitating cheating, exam fraud, or academic dishonesty

e) Inappropriate Content & Conduct

  • Posting offensive, obscene, defamatory, or harassing content
  • Bullying, threatening, or intimidating other users
  • Sharing hate speech, discriminatory content, or incitements to violence
  • Spamming, sending unsolicited advertisements, or phishing attempts
  • Uploading sexually explicit, violent, or otherwise inappropriate materials

4.3 Monitoring & Enforcement

While we do not routinely monitor user activity, we reserve the right to investigate suspected violations, review account activity, and take appropriate enforcement actions. This may include warnings, temporary suspension, permanent account termination, reporting to law enforcement, or legal action to recover damages.

5. Intellectual Property Rights

All intellectual property rights in and to the EduPassify Platform and its content are owned by or licensed to EduPassify. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Exam Questions & Materials: All past questions, practice exams, solutions, explanations, and study guides
  • AI Technology: Our proprietary AI study assistant algorithms, models, and natural language processing systems
  • Software & Code: Website, mobile applications, backend systems, and all underlying source code
  • Visual Elements: Logos, trademarks, graphics, images, videos, animations, and user interface designs
  • Content: Text, articles, blog posts, audio, video lessons, tutorials, and multimedia materials
  • Data & Analytics: Proprietary algorithms for performance tracking, study recommendations, and analytics

All content is protected by Nigerian and international copyright laws, trademark laws, patent laws, and other intellectual property rights. Unauthorized use may result in civil and criminal penalties.

5.2 Limited License to Users

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, EduPassify grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to:

  • Access and view content on our Platform for personal study purposes only
  • Download mobile applications on your personal devices (one account, up to 3 devices simultaneously)
  • Print limited portions of content for personal offline study (not for redistribution)
  • Create personal study notes referencing our content (without copying substantial portions)

This license does NOT grant you any right to: resell, redistribute, sublicense, commercially exploit, or create derivative works from EduPassify content. The license automatically terminates upon account termination or violation of these Terms.

5.3 User-Generated Content License

If you submit feedback, questions, comments, suggestions, ideas, or other content to EduPassify (via email, support tickets, forums, or otherwise), you grant us a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, sublicensable, transferable license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, distribute, and display such content for any purpose, including improving our Services, marketing, and product development. You waive all moral rights to such content and represent that you have all necessary rights to grant this license.

5.4 Third-Party Exam Boards & Content

Certain exam questions may be based on official exams administered by WAEC, NECO, JAMB, and other examination bodies. EduPassify does not claim ownership of official exam questions but has compiled them for educational purposes under fair use principles. We respect the intellectual property rights of examination boards and other content owners. If you believe any content infringes your rights, please contact us at copyright@edupassify.com with details.

5.5 Trademarks

"EduPassify," the EduPassify logo, and other brand names, logos, and service marks displayed on our Platform are registered or unregistered trademarks of EduPassify. You may not use these trademarks without our prior written consent. Third-party trademarks (WAEC, NECO, JAMB, etc.) are the property of their respective owners and are used for descriptive purposes only, without implying endorsement or affiliation.

6. Educational Content & Disclaimers

6.1 Content Accuracy & Currency

While we strive to provide accurate, up-to-date, and comprehensive educational content, EduPassify makes NO warranties or guarantees regarding:

  • The accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any content, questions, or answers
  • Currency of materials (exam syllabi and formats may change without notice)
  • Alignment with current exam board requirements or standards
  • The quality or effectiveness of our study materials for your specific needs

Content is compiled from multiple sources including past exams, educational curricula, and expert contributions. While reviewed by educators, errors or omissions may occur. We are not responsible for any consequences resulting from reliance on our content.

6.2 No Guarantee of Exam Success

Important: EduPassify is a study aid and exam preparation tool. We do NOT guarantee that using our Platform will result in passing exams, achieving specific scores, or academic success. Exam performance depends on numerous factors including your effort, prior knowledge, study habits, exam difficulty, and external circumstances beyond our control.

Success stories, testimonials, and statistics displayed on our Platform represent individual experiences and do not constitute promises or guarantees of similar results for all users.

6.3 Not a Substitute for Official Study

EduPassify should supplement, not replace, your official course studies, textbooks, classroom instruction, and preparation materials provided by your school or examination boards. We recommend using our Platform alongside formal education for best results.

7.2 AI Disclaimers & Limitations

By using our AI assistant, you acknowledge and accept that:

  • Not Always Accurate: AI-generated responses may occasionally contain errors, inaccuracies, or outdated information
  • Not Professional Advice: AI responses are for general educational purposes only and do not constitute professional tutoring, counseling, or career advice
  • Verify Information: Always cross-reference important information with official sources, textbooks, or qualified educators
  • Limited Context: AI may not fully understand complex or nuanced questions and may provide incomplete answers
  • No Human Judgment: AI lacks human judgment, empathy, and critical thinking - it cannot replace human educators
  • Evolving Technology: AI capabilities and accuracy improve over time, but current limitations exist

7.3 Appropriate Use of AI Assistant

You agree to use the AI assistant responsibly and for legitimate educational purposes. Prohibited uses include:

  • Attempting to trick, manipulate, or "jailbreak" the AI system
  • Submitting offensive, inappropriate, or harmful queries
  • Using AI responses to cheat on exams or submit as your own work without understanding
  • Extracting large volumes of data or content via AI interactions
  • Reverse engineering or analyzing AI behavior for competitive purposes

Conversations with our AI assistant are processed to provide responses and improve service quality. We may store conversation logs for quality assurance, debugging, and machine learning training purposes. Personal data handling is governed by our Privacy Policy. You should not share sensitive personal information in AI conversations.

7.5 Service Availability & Changes

AI assistant features may be modified, limited, or temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or technical issues. We reserve the right to impose usage limits (e.g., maximum questions per day) to ensure fair access for all users and manage computational costs.

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection, use, storage, and protection of your personal data is governed by our comprehensive Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

9. Disclaimers & Warranties

THE EDUPASSIFY PLATFORM AND ALL SERVICES, CONTENT, AND MATERIALS ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, EDUPASSIFY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement
  • Warranties regarding accuracy, reliability, completeness, or timeliness of content
  • Warranties that the Platform will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
  • Warranties that defects will be corrected or that the Platform is free of viruses or harmful components
  • Warranties regarding exam results, academic success, or educational outcomes

9.2 No Professional Relationship

EduPassify does not establish any professional educational relationship (teacher-student, tutor-student, counselor-student) between you and EduPassify or its employees. Our Platform provides self-directed study tools and should not be considered professional educational services or advice.

Our Platform may contain links to third-party websites, services, or resources not owned or controlled by EduPassify. We are not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of third-party sites. Accessing third-party links is at your own risk, and we recommend reviewing their terms and privacy policies.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, EDUPASSIFY'S TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF: (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO EDUPASSIFY IN SUBSCRIPTION FEES DURING THE 12 MONTHS IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO LIABILITY, OR (B) ₦10,000 (TEN THOUSAND NAIRA).

10.2 Exclusion of Consequential Damages

IN NO EVENT SHALL EDUPASSIFY, ITS DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AFFILIATES, AGENTS, CONTRACTORS, OR LICENSORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY:

  • Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
  • Loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill
  • Business interruption or loss of business opportunities
  • Costs of procurement of substitute services
  • Exam failure, poor academic performance, or missed educational opportunities
  • Emotional distress or psychological harm
  • Damages arising from unauthorized access to or use of your account
  • Damages resulting from errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in content
  • Damages caused by third-party actions or third-party content

THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS APPLY WHETHER LIABILITY IS BASED ON CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), STRICT LIABILITY, OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, EVEN IF EDUPASSIFY HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

10.3 Essential Purpose & Allocation of Risk

The limitations and exclusions in this Section reflect a reasonable allocation of risk between you and EduPassify and form an essential basis of the bargain between us. These limitations will apply even if any limited remedy fails of its essential purpose. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations may not fully apply to you.

You acknowledge that you are solely responsible for:

  • Your exam preparation and study efforts
  • Verifying exam schedules, requirements, and registration with official examination bodies
  • Meeting eligibility criteria for exams you intend to take
  • Ensuring internet connectivity and device compatibility
  • Backing up any important data or study notes
  • Compliance with your school's academic integrity policies

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless EduPassify, its parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, licensors, and service providers from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from or related to:

  • Your violation of these Terms or any applicable law or regulation
  • Your violation of any third-party rights, including intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights
  • Your use or misuse of the Platform or Services
  • Any content you submit or share through the Platform
  • Your negligence or willful misconduct
  • Any fraudulent or illegal activities conducted through your account

We reserve the right to assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter subject to indemnification by you, in which case you will cooperate fully with us in asserting any available defenses.

12. Account Suspension & Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by:

  • Canceling your subscription through account settings
  • Contacting support@edupassify.com with a termination request
  • Closing your account (may result in permanent data deletion)

Upon termination by you, access continues until the end of your paid period (no prorated refunds), after which your account reverts to the free tier or becomes inactive.

12.2 Termination by EduPassify

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the Platform, with or without notice, immediately and without liability, for any reason including but not limited to:

  • Terms Violations: Breach of any provision of these Terms
  • Fraudulent Activity: Use of stolen payment methods, chargeback abuse, or other fraud
  • Prohibited Activities: Engaging in hacking, scraping, spamming, or other prohibited conduct
  • Account Sharing: Repeated violations of our one-account-per-user policy
  • Abusive Behavior: Harassment, threats, or inappropriate conduct toward other users or staff
  • Legal Compliance: To comply with legal obligations or court orders
  • Service Protection: To protect the integrity, security, or availability of our Platform
  • Non-Payment: Failure to pay subscription fees after multiple attempts

12.3 Effects of Termination

Upon termination of your account:

  • Your right to access and use the Platform immediately ceases
  • Any outstanding fees become immediately due and payable
  • We may (but are not obligated to) delete your account data after a retention period
  • No refunds or credits will be provided for unused subscription time (unless otherwise required by law)
  • Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive (intellectual property, indemnification, limitation of liability, dispute resolution) will continue to apply

12.4 Right to Refuse Service

We reserve the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, or remove content at our sole discretion, without prior notice or liability.

13. Dispute Resolution & Arbitration

13.1 Informal Resolution First

Before initiating any formal dispute resolution process, you agree to contact us at disputes@edupassify.com to attempt to resolve the issue informally. Provide a detailed description of the dispute and your desired resolution. We will endeavor to respond within 14 business days and work with you in good faith to resolve the matter.

13.2 Binding Arbitration (For Residents of Nigeria)

If informal resolution fails, any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Platform (including disputes regarding existence, validity, interpretation, breach, or termination of this agreement) shall be settled by arbitration in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act of Nigeria.

Arbitration Terms:

  • Arbitration shall be conducted in Lagos, Nigeria (or by virtual proceedings if mutually agreed)
  • The arbitrator shall be mutually agreed upon by both parties, or appointed by the Lagos Multi-Door Courthouse (LMDC)
  • Arbitration shall be conducted in English
  • The arbitrator's decision shall be final and binding on both parties
  • Each party shall bear their own arbitration costs, unless otherwise awarded by the arbitrator

13.3 Exceptions to Arbitration

Either party may seek equitable relief (injunctions, restraining orders) in Nigerian courts to protect intellectual property rights or confidential information without first engaging in arbitration.

13.4 Class Action Waiver

You agree that disputes must be brought on an individual basis only, and not as part of any class, collective, or representative action. There shall be no right or authority for any claims to be arbitrated or litigated on a class action basis or in any other representative capacity.

14. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms and any dispute arising from or relating to them or the Platform shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Subject to the arbitration provisions above, any legal action or proceeding relating to these Terms or the Platform shall be brought exclusively in the courts of Lagos State, Nigeria, and you irrevocably consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue of such courts.

15. Force Majeure

EduPassify shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance of its obligations under these Terms due to causes beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Acts of God (natural disasters, floods, earthquakes, pandemics)
  • War, terrorism, civil unrest, or government actions
  • Internet or telecommunications failures
  • Power outages or infrastructure failures
  • Cyberattacks, hacking, or denial-of-service attacks
  • Third-party service provider failures (hosting, payment processing, cloud services)
  • Labor disputes or strikes

During force majeure events, EduPassify's obligations will be suspended for the duration of the event, and we will use reasonable efforts to mitigate effects and resume normal operations as soon as practicable.

16. Severability & Waiver

16.1 Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found by a court or arbitrator to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable while preserving its intent as closely as possible.

16.2 Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that right or provision. No waiver shall be effective unless made in writing and signed by an authorized representative of EduPassify. Any waiver of a breach shall not constitute a waiver of any subsequent breach.

17. Entire Agreement & Assignment

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any other policies or guidelines referenced herein, constitute the entire agreement between you and EduPassify regarding your use of the Platform and supersede all prior or contemporaneous agreements, communications, and understandings, whether oral or written.

You may not assign, transfer, or delegate these Terms or your rights and obligations hereunder without our prior written consent. We may assign or transfer these Terms, in whole or in part, at any time without your consent (including in connection with a merger, acquisition, corporate reorganization, or sale of assets). These Terms shall be binding upon and inure to the benefit of the parties and their respective successors and permitted assigns.

You are responsible for ensuring your email address is current and for checking the Platform regularly for notices.

Notices are deemed effective:

  • Email: 24 hours after sending
  • Platform Posting: Immediately upon posting
  • Physical Mail: 5 business days after mailing
